Motorhome Security

For twenty years we have specialised in motorhome security and we have been there and done it.  In recent years as the car industry has introduced a higher standard of equipment to the lower priced cars, the alarm manufacturers have had to target new "niche" markets to support their dwindling business's becoming experts over night in the motorhome market.  Scratch the surface and they don't understand motorcaravans at all, they don't use them, they don't own them don't understand them or us, motorcaravanners. Strikeback has evolved over the years due to the use of motorhomes all over Europe.

We don't think we know what we need to do to keep a motorhome and the owners safe, our system has been delveloped by us, used by us and also tens of thousands of motorhomes throughout Europe. Twenty years experience, still the market leader, still evolving to meet our customers needs and still recognised by the media and the insurers as the only one to have. Many systems are advertised as both Thatcham and having wireless sensors.  There are NO wireless sensors that are Thatcham approved.

So if you have wireless sensors fitted on your motorhome your system is no longer Thatcham approved and your insurance many be effected as a result. Thatcham will not approved wireless sensors due to the very easy way that they can be rendered usless, from the OUTSIDE of the motorhome. This and the fact that this information is in the public domain, is why they should play no part in your security regime.

You will see on some outdated websites that Companies are VSIB (Vehicle Security Installation Board) The VSIB was a private run scheme that went into liquidation in 2009 and never connected with Van Bitz motorhome security experts.
